Woman succumbs to injuries after off-highway vehicle accident in La Verkin
LA VERKIN, Utah (ABC4) — A woman involved in a fatal off-highway vehicle (OHV) crash has been identified. Angelina Tomas-Francisco, 45, has been identified by the Utah DNR Division of Law Enforcement. She was at the Washington County hospital where she succumbed to her injuries. According to law enforcement, a crash involving three adult females happened just after 9:30 p.m. on Feb. 7. The group was traveling along the overlook road when the OHV hit a pothole and ejected all three riders. None of the individuals were wearing helmets. Tomas-Francisco was a passenger along with an 18-year-old. The driver was a 20-year-old. Both parties remained on scene and sustained minor injuries. The incident remains under investigation.
