Woman injured after hitting parked car in Chesapeake
CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) -- A woman was hurt after striking a parked car Monday night in the Western Branch section of Chesapeake, according to police. Officers responded to the 4100 block of Dock Landing Road in reference to a single-vehicle accident at approximately 10:15 p.m. Police said the preliminary investigation indicated that the vehicle struck a parked vehicle before overturning onto its side. The driver was taken to a local hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening. The crash remains under investigation.
