Woman dead, another critical after crash in Shively; driver charged with DUI and murder
A driver has been charged with murder and DUI after a Shively crash left a woman dead and another in critical condition on Monday.Police said the crash happened around 7:56 p.m. in the area of Rockford Lane and Dixie Highway.When officers arrived, they found a woman believed to be in her mid-30s dead at the scene. Another woman was taken to the hospital in critical condition.Police said the woman who was killed was sitting at a bus stop when the crash happened.A driver, a man in his 30s, has been charged with DUI and murder. Police have not released his name.Police said the investigation is ongoing.
