Woman confesses to drinking 3-4 beers before fatal accident near Nellis Air Force Base: authorities
A woman, identified as Patricia Jauregui, has been charged in connection with a fatal DUI crash near Nellis Air Force Base. According to an arrest report, Jauregui admitted to police that she had consumed three to four beers prior to driving. The crash, which resulted in the death of a rider on a three-wheeled vehicle, occurred at the intersection of East Craig Road and North Lamont Street. Jauregui faces charges including DUI resulting in death, failure to yield to the right of way, and operating a vehicle with expired registration. Witnesses at the scene described the events leading up to the crash, including Jauregui's behavior following the incident. Jauregui is scheduled to appear in court on January 6th after being taken into custody and transported to the Clark County Detention Center.
