Woman charged in drunken driving crash that seriously injured man on Cape
A woman is facing charges in an alleged drunken driving crash on Cape Cod that left a man with life-threatening injuries Tuesday night.Police said Josephine Marsh, 26, of Brewster, was driving a pickup truck that collided with a car at the intersection of Pleasant Lake Avenue and Har-Wood Avenue in Harwich.The driver of the car was trapped inside his vehicle with life-threatening injuries, police said. After an extensive rescue process, the victim was taken to Barnstable Airport, where he was transferred to a medical helicopter and taken to a Boston-area hospital.Marsh, who suffered minor injuries, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of alcohol, operating a motor vehicle to endanger, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, using an electronic device while operating a motor vehicle and a marked lanes violation.She is expected to be arraigned in Orleans District Court.
