Williamsburg County firefighter involved in Monday accident
WILLIAMSBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – A Williamsburg County firefighter was involved in a Monday afternoon crash, the agency said. The firefighter, driving a county vehicle, was responding to a call on Williamsburg County Highway South around 4:20 p.m. when the crash happened. According to the department, the county vehicle was the only vehicle involved in the accident, and the firefighter was the only occupant of the vehicle. “The firefighter complained of no injuries, but was transported to a local hospital to be checked out in accordance with county policy,” officials said. The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
