Vehicle collides with Pennsylvania Department of Transportation snowplow in Juniata County
Emergency responders were called to the scene of a collision involving a PennDOT snow plow early Sunday morning. According to Mifflintown Hose Co #1, a car had crashed into the plow truck at William Penn Highway/Arch Rock Road in Fermanagh Township around 6:11 a.m. One person sustained injuries and was transported to the hospital. The fire company emphasized the importance of driving cautiously in winter conditions, urging motorists to slow down, give space to snow removal crews, and stay alert. PennDOT reported minor damage to the plow truck and confirmed that their driver was unharmed. Due to the expected heavy snowfall and cold temperatures, it is advised to avoid unnecessary travel and stay indoors where possible. Travel restrictions are in effect for numerous main roads and highways on Sunday.
