VBPD: Teenage boy injured in single-vehicle crash on Indian River Road
VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) -- A teenage boy was hurt following a single-vehicle crash Friday evening on Indian River Road, according to the Virginia Beach Police Department. Emergency Communications and Citizen Services received a report of a single-vehicle crash in the 2000 block of Indian River Road at approximately 5:15 p.m. When officers arrived, they found an overturned vehicle with one occupant, a teenage boy. First responders got him out the vehicle and discovered he had injuries that were not life-threatening. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
