Vehicle catches fire after 2-vehicle crash in Aurora

DENVER (KDVR) — A vehicle caught fire after a two-vehicle crash in Aurora on Monday afternoon, the Aurora Police Department announced in a post on X. The crash occurred near Quincy Avenue and Richfield Street. Images posted by the Aurora Police Department show a black Tesla with front-end damage near a bent-over road sign and a white Ford truck with damage to the rear and the side of the vehicle. One of the vehicles caught fire following the crash, but the fire was extinguished by the Aurora Fire Department. Two people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries, according to police. All directions of Quincy Avenue are closed while crews are in the area.
