Utah woman identified as victim of fatal drowning accident in Payette River
VALLEY COUNTY, Idaho (ABC4) — The victim of a drowning accident in Idaho's Payette River last week has been identified as a 22-year-old woman from Utah. According to the Ada County Coroner, they were dispatched to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, Idaho on July 23 on reports of a woman who was hospitalized after being submerged in the Payette River. The victim was pronounced deceased on June 23 at 5:35 p.m. and has since been identified as 22-year-old Sara Bronson of St. George, Utah. Her cause of death has been determined to be an accidental drowning, according to Ada County Coroner, Richard D. Riffle. The investigation is being conducted by the Valley County Sheriff's Office. There is no further information available at this time.
