Two-vehicle crash closes Grandview Road in Waukesha County

UPDATE 7:12 a.m. The Waukesha Police Department confirmed the road was reopened. No further details have been released.A crash involving two vehicles closed a stretch of road in Waukesha County and affected the morning commute. The crash happened near North Grandview between Golf Road and the GE entrance, north of Golf Road near Highway 16, between GE Medical and Milwaukee County Technical College.The Waukesha Police Department closed roads for the crash investigation and asked drivers to find an alternate route. Police have note released details on injuries.News Chopper 12 is above the scene, Matt Salemme, describes what appeared to be a partial head-on collision involving two vehicles."You can see it looks like it was a partial head-on collision," Salemme said. "Two vehicles, and on Grandview, just north of Golf, that is out between GE Medical and the Milwaukee County Technical College out here near Highway 16."Salemme said crews had completed their rescue work and were conducting an accident reconstruction at the scene."Right now they are doing their accident reconstruction portion," Salemme said. "They've got a couple of drones up and they are taking some photos and measurements, trying to determine exactly what led to this crash."
