Two Telangana women seeking employment in the US die in car crash

Two young women, Pullakhandam Meghana Rani and Kadiyala Bhavana, originally from Telangana and now residing in California, tragically lost their lives in a car accident on their way back from a trip with friends. Both 24 years old, they had completed their Master's degrees, with Meghana, affectionately known as Chikki, having recently moved to the US. The close friends were from Garla Mandal in Mahabubabad district. Meghana's father operates a Mee-Seva center in Garla, while Bhavana's father is the Deputy Sarpanch of Mulkanoor village. The sudden and devastating loss has deeply impacted their families and the local community. Authorities in the US are investigating the accident, while efforts are underway to repatriate their remains to India. A fundraising campaign has been launched to cover the expenses, especially to bring Meghana's remains back as her family is facing financial difficulties. Supporters are urged to contribute to give Meghana a respectful farewell.
