Two teenagers die in Hicksville BMW accident hitting a building and tree, say Nassau Police
Two young women, aged 19, tragically lost their lives in a car accident in Hicksville when the BMW they were riding in collided with a tree and a building. The incident occurred when a 23-year-old man was driving the vehicle on Old Country Road near Sterling Place at 11:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 23. The driver lost control, crossed into oncoming traffic, and the car crashed into the tree before hitting the building. The two passengers sustained fatal injuries and were pronounced dead at the scene. The driver was taken to a hospital for assessment and treatment. The investigation into the accident is still ongoing.
