Tragedy as Father of 3 Fatally Struck by Driver While Cycling to Work in Los Angeles
A family is in shock and is calling for justice after a tragic incident in which a 59-year-old husband and father of three was killed while riding his bike to work last month. The fatal crash occurred on Nov. 19 at around 4:30 a.m. as Pablo Morales Dominguez was cycling near the intersection of 108th Street and Prairie Avenue in Inglewood. Surveillance footage from a nearby business captured a sedan hitting Morales, causing him to be thrown into the air before the driver initially left the scene but later returned. Despite the passage of over two weeks since the incident, the driver has not yet been arrested, leaving the victim's family distraught. Family members have expressed disbelief that investigators deemed the collision an accident, insisting it was intentional. The daughters of the deceased, Karen and Diana Morales, are seeking justice and facing emotional challenges following their father's death. Pablo's wife, Veronica Morales, shared her grief, mentioning how much they will miss him and emphasizing that he did not deserve his tragic fate. KTLA has contacted traffic investigators at the Inglewood Police Department for updates on any arrests and is currently awaiting a response, which may take months due to the nature of such investigations. A GoFundMe campaign has been set up to support the devastated family as they navigate the emotional and financial strains of laying their loved one to rest.
