traffic backup on SC 31
UPDATE- Horry County Fire Rescue is on scene. No significant injuries have been reported at this time, according to Horry County Fire Rescue. Motorists are urged to avoid S.C. 31 northbound because of heavy traffic Thursday morning. South Carolina Department of Transportation traffic cameras appear to show a vehicle overturned on its side in the roadway. SCDOT has reported a crash in the area, but Horry County Police Department and Horry County Fire Rescue have not confirmed the incident. Drivers should expect significant delays and consider alternate routes until traffic conditions improve.
