Teenagers killed in four car crash in Montcalm County, alcohol believed to be a factor
Michigan State Police believe alcohol is a factor in a crash that killed two teenagers Thursday night. The 17-year-olds were driving on M-46 near Derby Road around 11 p.m. when they were hit from behind by a 49-year-old man from Grandville, police said. WRONG WAY CRASH: Three people dead after crash on I-96 That crash caused the teenagers to spin into oncoming traffic, where they were hit by a pickup truck and then T-boned by an SUV, according to police. The truck and SUV were being driven by a husband and wife from Saginaw who were driving separately, police said. CRASH KILLS TWO: Wrong way crash on I-196 in Grand Rapids kills both drivers Both teenagers were killed and the woman who was driving the SUV was taken to the hospital. Police have not identified anybody who was involved.
