Teen driver hospitalized with major injuries after car hits two pistachio trees
An 18-year-old suffered major injuries after her car crashed into two pistachio trees on Saturday. Madera CHP responded to a solo car crash in the area of Road 16. According to the investigation, a female teen was driving a 2004 Toyota Corolla northbound on Road 16 when, for reasons still under investigation, she lost control of the vehicle, left the roadway and collided with two pistachio trees.
