Teen driver accused of causing fatal crash in Lodi

Authorities in Medina, Ohio have charged a 19-year-old driver, Brenden Anthony Gundel from Lodi, with aggravated vehicular homicide after he allegedly caused a fatal crash on December 22nd. The crash resulted in the death of a 63-year-old woman named Pegeen Razem. The incident involved two vehicles, one of which overturned, with the other sustaining significant front-end damage. Although there was no evidence of drugs or alcohol playing a role, authorities believe Gundel was driving recklessly at the time of the crash. Police Chief Ed Kinney expressed condolences to the victim's family and emphasized the importance of responsible driving, as reckless decisions on the road can have severe consequences. Brenden Anthony Gundel is currently being held in the Medina County jail.
