Teen crashes parents’ car into Macy’s at Fashion Fair

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A teenager was taken into custody after crashing a vehicle into a store at Fashion Fair Mall on Thursday morning, according to the Fresno Police Department. Officials say dispatch received a call that a vehicle had crashed into the Macy's Men's store at around 8 a.m. According to officers, the vehicle drove through the store's doors before driving back out. Officers say they determined the vehicle was being driven by a 14-year-old who had taken his parents' vehicle without permission. The teen was found still inside the vehicle a short distance away, and was taken into custody. Officials say the teen is being charged with auto theft and felony vandalism.
