Teen charged in Powell after car slams into home

A man in Powell is facing numerous charges following a car accident that resulted in a house being hit. New details about the incident have surfaced through court records. According to the records, Jayden Michael Ingersoll, 18, was reportedly driving well over the speed limit of 30 mph, reaching speeds of around 100 mph. Even though his passengers urged him to slow down, he continued to speed, causing the car to crash into a tree and then the house, with the speedometer showing 60 mph at impact. Ingersoll is set to appear in court on October 20 to face the charges. Despite the severity of the crash, Ingersoll only sustained minor injuries, leaving responders surprised by the outcome.
