Sunday I-14 fatal crash victim identified - KWKT
Belton, Tx (FOX 44) - DPS Sergeant Bryan Washko said Hayes was the driver of a 2022 Dodge Challenger that crashed Sunday night around 9:38 p.m. Troopers reported The Challenger was traveling east on I-14 at a high rate of speed when for reasons still under investigation Wednesday, the driver lost control near the 292 mile marker. The vehicle left the roadway and rolled over multiple times. Troopers reported Hayes was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle. He was airlifted to Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Temple where he was later pronounced dead.
