State Police investigating fiery crash in Ulster County

ULSTER, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- An investigation is underway following a fiery crash in the town of Ulster late Friday night, according to New York State Police. The incident reportedly occurred on I-87 near Exit 19 just before midnight. A preliminary investigation found that a northbound BMW was traveling at a high rate of speed when it hit the back of a U-Haul trailer being towed by a northbound Subaru, police said. The Subaru then reportedly lost control, rolled over and became engulfed in flames. An investigation remains ongoing.
