State Police investigate fatal Lockport crash
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) -- State police are investigating a deadly crash involving a pedestrian that happened Friday night in the town of Lockport. Officials say Lockport resident Leroy Smith, 81, was hit by a vehicle driven by Sean Michael Patrick Leslie, 22, of Grand Island. Troopers arrived on the scene just after 9:30 p.m. and immediately began CPR. Smith was later pronounced dead. The State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation are now investigating the crash.
