Southbound lanes of U.S. 35 are closed Tuesday in Putnam County after a two-vehicle crash that injured multiple people. The crash, which involved a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle, was reported near mile marker 12 in the Buffalo area, officials said. The Putnam County Sheriff’s Office said those in the passenger vehicle suffered life-threatening injuries. The driver of the tractor-trailer suffered non-life-threatening injuries. It’s not currently known how long southbound lanes will be closed. Drivers should find an alternate route and prepare for delays.
