Small plane crash reported in Northeast Philly: What we know
A small plane crash occurred in Northeast Philadelphia Wednesday afternoon, reports say. Early reports say the crash happened in the area of Grant and Torresdale Avenues just before 4 p.m. Philadelphia Office of Emergency Management said this was an emergency landing in a field near Fluehr Park.There is a heavy presence of first responders at the scene of the crash. SKYFOX was live over the crash where medics removed at least two people from the scene.Residents and motorists are urged to avoid the area.It is unclear how many people were injured in the crash.This is a developing story.
