Sheriff’s office vehicle involved in multi-car crash in Natchez
ADAMS COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) - Adams County deputies responded to a multi-vehicle accident, which included a sheriff's office vehicle. The crash occurred in the area of Walmart on Sgt. Prentiss Drive in Natchez around 11:30 a.m. on May 19, 2026. Adams County Sheriff Travis Patten said AMR responded to the scene and evaluated several people involved in the crash. He said their injuries appeared to be non-life-threatening. Because the accident involved an Adams County Sheriff’s Office vehicle, Patten said the Natchez Police Department will handle the crash investigation.
