One injured, another cited in Walnut Street crash
One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash at West Walnut and North Church streets. Joseph Peterson, 33, of Jacksonville was taken to Jacksonville Memorial Hospital got treatment after his car and one being driven by Denise M. Breen, 51, of Carlinville collided about 1:39 p.m. Wednesday, according to a police report. Breen was cited on a charge of failing to yield, according to Lt. Sean Walker. Peterson's condition was unavailable Wednesday.
