Route 20 in Shrewsbury reopens in both directions after crash
All lanes of Route 20 have reopened after a crash in Shrewsbury, MassDOT announced. The roadway was initially closed at South Street. Drivers were advised to seek alternate routes as crews work to clean up the crash. Video from Sky5 showed a dark gray sedan and a silver SUV at the scene of the crash with extensive damage to the front of both vehicles. Debris was scattered across the roadway as investigative crews nearby photographed the scene. The airbags in the silver SUV were deployed.It is unclear if anyone was hurt in the crash.NewsCenter 5 will provide updates as we learn more information.
