Rollover crash closes I-84 West in Willington
WILLINGTON, Conn. (WTNH) — A rollover crash involving a truck closed Interstate 84 West between Exits 71 and 70 in Willington on Wednesday evening. News 8 witnessed people in military uniform around the overturned vehicle, along with firefighters, police and other first responders. The Connecticut National Guard said it was aware of a military-style vehicle involved in a crash, but that the vehicle does not belong to the Connecticut National Guard. The incident is under investigation. Connecticut State Police said two vehicles were involved in the crash, which resulted in minor and non-life threatening injuries. This is a developing story.
