Randolph student killed in car accident
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) -- A Randolph Central School District student was killed in a car accident, school officials said Wednesday. The student, who officials have not identified at this time, was in eleventh grade. "We extend our deepest condolences to the student's family and loved ones," a statement issued by the school district read. "Our thoughts, prayers, and support are with them during this incredibly difficult time." School officials said counselors are working to assist students and staff in need of support. "Our Crisis Response Team has met and has been deployed to support our students, faculty, staff, and community as we process this loss together," the statement read in part. "School counselors and support staff have been and will continue to work tirelessly for anyone who may need assistance." School leaders said counseling resources will continue to be available for families in the district.
