Police identify 4 of 6 victims in Bangor Airport plane crash.

The Bangor Police Department recently identified four of the six individuals who tragically lost their lives in an airplane crash at Bangor International Airport at the end of January. On the evening of January 25th, a private jet crashed during takeoff, resulting in a devastating outcome. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) confirmed that four passengers and two flight crew members perished in the crash. The six victims have been named, including Tara Arnold, Jacob Hosmer, Shelby Kuyawa, and Jorden Reidel. The Jet was en route from Houston to Paris-Vatry Airport and had stopped in Bangor for fuel and de-icing before the horrific incident. Weather conditions, including heavy snowfall and freezing fog, were present at the time of the crash. The FAA had previously flagged concerns about cold-weather operations for the plane model involved in the crash, referencing incidents in Canada in 2008. The investigation, being led by the NTSB, will involve a comprehensive review of various elements such as pilot experience, aircraft systems, and environmental factors surrounding the crash. If anyone has information relevant to the investigation, they are encouraged to contact the NTSB at [email protected].
