Pocasset woman dies after crash at Purcell intersection
A Pocasset woman has died following an accident at an intersection in Purcell. Shortly before 8 p.m. on July 23, emergency crews were called to a crash near 180th Street and May Ave. in Purcell. Investigators say one vehicle failed to stop at a stop sign and was hit by another vehicle in the intersection. Officials say the driver of the first vehicle, who was identified as 74-year-old Nelda Idle, died as a result of her injuries. Two passengers and the other driver were also injured in the accident.
