Philadelphia cop struck during traffic stop as car collides with residence, officer unharmed
A police officer in Philadelphia was struck by a car during a traffic stop in North Philly on Friday but thankfully escaped injury. The incident occurred when officers were attempting to pull over a woman driving a red Chrysler Sebring. Although the woman initially hit an officer's car while in reverse, the situation escalated when she drove forward and hit the officer. Luckily, the officer was unhurt, and there was no damage to the other officer's vehicle. The driver fled the scene but was later found after crashing into a building on North Eighth Street. Despite the potentially dangerous circumstances, no one suffered any serious injuries. The suspect, a 20-year-old woman, is facing charges related to the incident.
