33-year-old motorcyclist killed in rear-end crash on Southern Boulevard
A motorcyclist was killed early Saturday after a pickup truck struck his bike from behind on Southern Boulevard, with deputies citing impairment as a factor. According to a crash report from the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office , the collision happened around 5 a.m. in the 8100 block of Southern Boulevard in West Palm Beach. A man driving a Chevrolet Silverado westbound struck a Suzuki sport motorcycle from behind as 33-year-old Eury Abreu Herrera entered the inside lane after exiting a parking garage. The impact ejected Herrera from the motorcycle. He was pronounced dead at the scene about six minutes later, deputies said. Crash investigators say alcohol or drugs were a factor for both the pickup truck driver and Herrera.
