2 children suffer serious injuries after jet ski crash
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Two children suffered serious injuries after a jet ski crash on the Niagara River near Gratwick Park Saturday, according to North Tonawanda fire officials. Emergency crews were sent to the area around 3 p.m. Saturday after reports of a head on collision between two jet skis about 100 feet from shore near the Gratwick Boat Launch. According to a statement from fire officials, nearby civilian jet skis helped to pick up some of the victims out of the water and brought them to shore. The two children who had suffered serious injuries were taken to area hospitals, two other people were also hurt in the crash.
