Person airlifted to hospital after crash on Florida's Turnpike at SR-50
A major crash on Florida's Turnpike temporarily shut down all of the southbound lanes of in Winter Garden.According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash happened just after 7 on Wednesday morning, before the SR-50 exit.Three cars were involved, including a 2005 Toyota Tundra hauling a trailer, a sedan, and a semi-truck, FHP says.The drivers of the sedan was airlifted to the hospital with serious injuries, troopers say.There were delays along Florida's Turnpike while FHP worked to clear the crash, but all of the lanes have since reopened.FHP is continuing to investigate the crash.
