Montgomery County crash leaves man hospitalized
SILVER SPRING, Md. (DC News Now) -- A man was seriously hurt Saturday morning after a car crashed in the White Oak area, police said. The Montgomery County Department of Police (MCPD) said officers responded to the single-vehicle collision at around 4:40 a.m. in the 11800 block of New Hampshire Avenue. Responders transported the man to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to MCPD. Police said New Hampshire Avenue is temporarily closed between Nora Drive and Hartfields Drive. Drivers should take alternate routes. At this time, the circumstances surrounding the crash remain unclear.
