Pedestrian killed in Dorchester County crash

DORCHESTER COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – A pedestrian was struck and killed Saturday in Dorchester County. Cpl. Nick Pye with the South Carolina Highway Patrol said the crash happened around 8:40 p.m. on Orangeburg Road near Parsonage Road A 2014 Toyota SUV was headed west in Orangeburg Road when they struck a pedestrian who was in the roadway. The pedestrian did not survive the crash. Highway Patrol is investigating.
