OSHP: 1 dead, 3 injured after head-on crash occurs on US-50 in Clermont County
The Ohio State Highway Patrol says that one person is dead and three others are injured after a head-on crash occurred on Saturday along US Route 50 in Clermont County.According to OSHP, the first report about the crash came in to police dispatch at approximately 3:55 p.m., with officers subsequently dispatched to Jackson Township near the highway's intersection with Smokey Road.The deceased crash victim was not identified by police. It was also not immediately clear how the crash happened.US-50 was closed to traffic on Saturday afternoon as first responders arrived on scene. Police say that the highway continues to remain closed to traffic as of 7 p.m.OSHP says that they intend to release more information about the crash soon.
