One hospitalized after four-vehicle crash on I-91 in Hatfield
HATFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - One person was taken to the hospital following a four-vehicle crash on I-91 South in Hatfield on Tuesday afternoon. According to the Massachusetts State Police, troopers were called at approximately 3 p.m. to the southbound side of I-91 near the 28.8-mile marker for a reported four-car crash. Hatfield EMS was also called to the scene and brought at least one person, a 76-year-old man, to Cooley Dickinson Hospital. The right travel lane was temporarily closed while emergency crews investigated the crash and cleared the roadway. All lanes have since reopened, and the scene was cleared by 3:34 p.m. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
