One dead, three others injured in Fentress County ATV crash
FENTRESS COUNTY, Tenn. (WATE) — One person is dead after an ATV crash on Banner Springs Road in Fentress County. The Tennessee Highway Patrol shared that a 1972 Chevrolet Blazer was going south on Banner Springs Road at 8:42 p.m. on Thursday, July 16. The preliminary report said that an ATV without headlights or taillights was ahead of the Chevrolet, and the car hit the back of the ATV. The vehicles came to a final rest near the intersection of George Young Road. The report added that the driver of the ATV is unknown at this time, but there were four juveniles inside. One of the juveniles died while the others were severely injured. The driver of the Chevrolet was not injured, and no charges are pending.
