One dead following rollover crash in State College

UPDATE: STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (WTAJ) -- One person is dead after a rollover crash in State College Wednesday. According to State College Police, officers were called to the scene at 11:13 a.m. and found the female driver unresponsive. Crews extracted her from the vehicle to begin CPR and transport her to Mount Nittany Medical Center. Footage at the intersection of South Allen St and Easterly Parkway allegedly showed the car traveling down Allen Street at a high speed before leaving the roadway and missing another vehicle and pedestrian, State College Police said. The car drove across a lawn, struck a retaining wall on Sunrise Terrace, became airborne, and landed on the roof. The driver was pronounced dead at the hospital. Her identity is withheld until notifications can be made. The crash remains under investigation. STATE COLLEGE, Pa.
