One dead, at least one other injured in late Saturday night crash in Mobile

UPDATE (9:13 a.m.) -- Mobile Police released more information about Saturday night's deadly crash. Officers received the call to respond to the wreck around 11:50 p.m. Authorities said a man was pronounced dead on scene due to injuries he sustained from the crash. Additionally, a woman and another man were taken to a local hospital to receive care with minor, non-life-threatening injuries, according to police. This remains an active investigation. ORIGINAL STORY MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — A two-vehicle crash in Mobile left one man dead and at least one other person injured, according to a Mobile Police spokesperson. News 5 was on the scene just after the crash. Police say the truck vs. car crash happened just before midnight Saturday at the intersection of Schillinger Road and Cottage Hill Road. Once authorities arrived on scene, one man was pronounced dead. Police said the deceased was in the car, along with another person. Their condition is unknown at this time. The truck driver was receiving medical attention on scene. We don't know the extent of their injuries. This is an active investigation. We will update this story as we learn more.
