One dead after two-car crash in Broadalbin, State Police say
One person is dead after a crash in Broadalbin Saturday morning. According to the New York State Police, on June 20, 2026, at about 9:31 a.m., Troopers responded to a two-car collision at the intersection of State Route 29 and Bogden Road in Broadalbin. MORE: Schenectady man sentenced for role in deadly Colonie crash The investigation has determined that a vehicle entered the intersection from Bogden Road and was struck by a vehicle traveling eastbound on State Route 29. The driver of the vehicle entering the intersection was declared deceased at the scene. The investigation is ongoing. State Route 29 was closed in both directions for approximately three hours for the investigation.
