Coroner identifies pedestrian fatally struck by vehicle on South H Street
A 44-year-old man identified as Paul Richard Gonzales was struck by a vehicle on Saturday shortly after 1:30 a.m. on South H Street, said the Kern County coroner. The coroner said Gonzales was walking in the road in the 4800 block of South H Street, near White Lane, when he was hit. Gonzales was determined to have died from injuries related to the crash. The Bakersfield Police Department investigated the incident.
