One dead after early Saturday morning rollover crash in Blue Ridge Summit
BLUE RIDGE SUMMIT- Police in Washington Township have confirmed the death of at least one person following a rollover crash near the Pennsylvania, Maryland border. Washington Township PD say they were called to a rollover crash in the 13,000 block of Blue Ridge Avenue, Blue Ridge Summit around 2:24am on Saturday, July 18th. Upon arrival, police found one vehicle rolled over at the scene. One occupant of the vehicle was pronounced deceased at the scene, with two other occupants transported for injuries suffered in the crash. The name of the deceased has not been released as the investigation continues. That investigation is currently being completed by WTPD and with help from the Franklin County Coroner's Office as well as the Pennsylvania State Police CARS, or Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Specialist, unit.
