Omaha teen sentenced in fatal high-speed crash

An Omaha teen was sentenced in a high-speed crash that killed another teenager in September 2024.Tap Tap, 16, was sentenced to eight to 12 years in prison last Thursday. He had a theft charge dropped as part of a plea deal.Tap was convicted of manslaughter in the crash, which killed a 14-year-old boy and injured five other people.The crash occurred near 37th and X streets in September 2024.
