Omaha police investigate crash that sent two people to the hospital with CPR in progress
Omaha police confirmed two young children were sent to the hospital with life-saving measures in progress after a crash.The incident happened in the area of 114th Street and West Center Road around 6:35 p.m. on Thursday.According to Lt. Danny Flynn, a driver was turning when their Subaru collided with a Chevy Malibu in the intersection. Lt. Flynn says the two children, believed to be under the age of 10, were in the Subaru and were properly restrained. Both adult drivers were also taken to the hospital with critical injuries.OPD says the preliminary indication is that speeding or alcohol may have been involved, but the investigation is still in its early stages.
