Motorists near Interstate 89 Southbound in Colchester are being rerouted following a two-vehicle crash.Fire crews on scene told NBC5 that no one was injured in the crash. We saw some fire trucks and police cruisers on scene but were unable to learn more about the cause of the crash.Two SUV's appeared to have been involved. We saw those vehicles being loaded onto a tow truck.An NBC5 viewer said the crash happened just before the I-89 SB on-ramp near Niquette Bay Road on U.S. Route 2.A Nextdoor alert showed a "major accident" reported in the area at 11:57 a.m.The Colchester Police Department confirmed that there is a crash in the area, but could not provide additional details at this time. Motorists should expect delays and seek alternate routes at this time.
