Multi-vehicle crash closes stretch of Perry County highway
PERRY COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM)-- A stretch of a Perry County highway closed Friday morning after a multi-vehicle crash, according to 511PA. 511PA announced that the southbound lanes of US-11/15 are closed between Sunbury Street and Lovers Lane after a multi-vehicle crash. Crews responded to the roadway at around 8:50 a.m. According to Fritzi Schreffler, the spokesperson for PennDOT District 8, this road closure is expected to last a few hours while Pennsylvania State Police do reconstruction. One individual was airlifted and another taken by ambulance as a result of the crash.
